General Manager Sales

The General Manager - Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships, developing sales strategies, and leading the sales team to achieve business objectives within the logistics & all other sector.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
- Identify and acquire new clients in the logistics & all other space, including e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, and FMCG sectors.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure profitable pricing models for services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored logistics solutions and value-added services.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Monitor team performance and provide training and development to enhance skills.
- Manage P&L responsibilities for the sales division.
- Ensure profitable growth and manage margins across different service offerings (warehousing, transportation, supply chain solutions).
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional campaigns and client engagement strategies.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for senior management.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales and business development in Logistics & all other segment or supply chain solutions.
- Proven experience in managing large accounts and leading sales teams.
- Strong understanding of Logistics services, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
