Role Overview:The Sales Head is responsible for leading the company’s overall sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and managing the sales team to achieve business objectives. This role involves setting sales targets, expanding market reach, building key client relationships, and ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Revenue GrowthDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business targets.Identify new business opportunities and expansion areas to increase market share.Establish and monitor sales performance metrics (KPI & KRA) to drive results.

Team Leadership & DevelopmentRecruit, train, and mentor the sales team, including Territory Managers.Set performance benchmarks and provide regular coaching to improve productivity.Foster a high-performance sales culture with motivation and goal-driven execution.

Client & Key Account ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and distributors.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through strategic engagement.Lead high-value negotiations and contract management with major clients.

Market Analysis & Competitive IntelligenceConduct market research to track industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.Utilize insights to refine sales tactics and adapt to market changes.Work closely with the marketing team to align sales campaigns with demand generation.

Sales Forecasting & ReportingMaintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline management.Present performance reports and growth strategies to senior leadership.Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking sales activities and customer interactions.

Cross-Functional CollaborationWork with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience.Align sales initiatives with the company’s financial and operational goals.Ensure smooth order fulfilment and post-sales service in coordination with logistics teams.

Qualifications & Experience:15+ years of experience in sales, with at least 10+ years in a leadership role.Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing sales teams.Experience in territory management, strategic sales planning, and team development.
