
Business Development Manager

This is a remote position.
- Function as the Point of Contact to clients during the pre-sales phase. Participate in subcontractor pre-qualification process and respond to RFPs and bid requests. Conduct meetings with clients for scope discussion, query resolution, and sales closing.
- Study architectural/ MEP drawings to understand the scope of work for BIM and Engineering services.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Establish and nurture social media connections with key players and decision makers of existing and prospective business accounts. Market and capture their interest in the services offered by the company.
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their requirements and concerns.
- Proposal creation. Review the purchase orders, sales contracts, and other agreements from clients to ensure favorable terms and conditions of sale.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on services.
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
- Act as a bridge between the client and internal technical teams.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
- Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements & innovations in the AEC industry.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience in B2B sales, marketing, or customer relations
- Experience in handling international clients is a must
- B. Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or EEE Engineering will be an add-on
- BIM/CAD domain sales experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships
- Functional knowledge of standard sales practices and strategies
