Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with a solid understanding of Web applications, who can effectively troubleshoot and resolve product issues reported by customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing L2/L3 support for our manufacturing domain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to clients for web and handheld-based applications.
  • Handle incident tickets, analyze logs, replicate issues, and offer timely resolutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and suggest preventive measures to reduce recurring issues.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and deployment teams to ensure bug fixes are implemented effectively.
  • Support data extraction, debugging, and database-level fixes using SQL queries.
  • Troubleshoot web-based front-end issues involving JavaScript, jQuery, and browser compatibility.
  • Support WCF service issues, integration errors with SAP, or other third-party systems.
  • Participate in product upgrade support, patch deployments, and post-release validations.
  • Document support procedures, known issues, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly with customers and internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support or application maintenance for enterprise-level web applications.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of:
  • SQL Server: Writing queries, stored procedures, debugging
  • Debugging tools: Fiddler, browser dev tools, Postman, etc.
  • Exposure to SAP (integration perspective) is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and how IT systems integrate with shop floor operations.
  • Exposure to IIS server, deployment scripts, and configuration.
