Urgent Hiring for a Regional Supply Chain Manager -Asia for a leading Chemical Manufacturing Company Based in Manesar

Job purpose:


The Regional Supply Chain Manager (Asia) is accountable to develop the regional Supply Chain strategy and implementation plan to deliver outstanding value to CA business, in line with overall CA Supply Chain strategy. As leader of the regional Supply Chain teams the role holder has the responsibility for developing Supply Chain talent in the region. He/she is accountable for short- and long-term successes of the regional supply chain organization in meeting customer requirements and overall business objectives.

Principal accountabilities:

- Be a member of the global supply chain leadership team and contribute to sharing of best-practices and overall supply chain strategy and execution.

- Provide coaching, performance management, and career development to regional and site teams

- Liaise with Regional Manufacturing leadership to ensure effective supply chain service delivery and communication across site supply chain.

- Lead the planning, organization and execution of regional activities in the movement of raw and finished materials, Customer Service, S&OP/E, metal management, inventory and working capital, transportation, distribution, and logistics.

- Deploy defined critical metrics to measure performance and identify improvement opportunities.

- Demonstrate progress in simplicity, accountability, and drive for results.

- Drive continuous improvement and manage productivity pipelines, execution, and tracking.

- Lead cross-functional coordination and initiatives to maximize cash delivery.

- Participate in the continuous improvement of key processes such as S&OP/E, metal management, OTC, material and logistics to higher maturity.

- Lead implementation and delivery of global and regional initiatives such as footprint projects, security process, business continuity plan, and cross sector initiatives.

- Based on TOM (target operating model) define fit for purpose regional and site org. Structure. Manage changes through deployment.

- Verify that Supply Chain policies are disseminated and required monitoring/controlling processes are effective.

- Ensure training is effective and monitor actual practice.

- Lead Regional Customer Service function. Engage effectively with both canners and OEMs and be a valuable member of account engagement team.

- Participate in existing and new product planning processes to support product launches.

Scope:

- Accountable for the respective Region (Americas, Europe, Asia)

- Requires strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across all functions of Company.

- Requires breadth of Supply Chain experience and a mid-longer term planning horizon.

Special factors:

- Global Travel and within region may be required up to 50% of time

- Personal Protective Equipment should be worn when visiting sites.
