Position Summary:

The Business Head for Gold Loans at our NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the gold loan business segment within the organization.

This position requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and deep understanding of the gold loan market dynamics. The incumbent will be responsible for driving business growth, maximizing profitability, and ensuring operational excellence in line with the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive business growth and achieve targets in gold loan portfolio.

- Identify market opportunities, trends, and competitor activities to formulate effective business strategies.

- Lead the development of innovative products and services to enhance the competitiveness of the gold loan business.

Business Development:

- Expand the customer base and geographic presence of gold loan operations through effective marketing and distribution channels.

- Forge strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including customers, financial institutions, and gold suppliers to drive business growth.

- Explore new market segments and customer segments to diversify and expand the gold loan portfolio.

Profitability Management:

- Drive revenue generation and profitability through efficient pricing strategies, risk management, and cost optimization initiatives.

- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics including asset quality, NPA (Non-Performing Assets) management, and portfolio yield to ensure profitability targets are met.

-Implement measures to mitigate risks associated with gold loan business and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Team Management:

- Build and lead a high-performing team of professionals to achieve business objectives.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to enhance their performance and career development.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity within the gold loan business unit.

Relationship Management:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive customer satisfaction and retention.

- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues in a timely manner.

- Build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders including regulators, industry associations, and community organizations.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within gold loan or secured lending business.

- Proven track record of driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

- Strong understanding of gold loan market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs.

- Result-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and delivering superior customer experience.
