Job Description

As the Head of Insurance Business,

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives. You will oversee all aspects of the insurance business, including underwriting, claims management, product development, distribution channels, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities: -

Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability in the insurance sector.

- Lead and manage a team of insurance professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to achieve departmental targets.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design innovative insurance products that meet the needs of our clients.

- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to mitigate risk and protect the company's interests.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including reinsurers, brokers, and regulators.

- Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics to assess the effectiveness of insurance operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience in a senior management role within the insurance industry.

- Strong knowledge of insurance underwriting, pricing, and risk management principles.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

- Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach to achieving business objectives.

- In-depth understanding of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
