JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity

The Bid Desk Operations Specialist is a critical business facing role within the Business Operations team. In this role, you will work with leaders of our business units to understand their business strategy and goals in a way that you can help deliver RFx that help them work towards their goals.

You will serve as a liaison between the business and multiple functional teams delivering value through our systems and platforms. The successful candidate enjoys analyzing complicated issues, communicating at multiple levels of an organization, and is thoughtful and organized in their approach.

What youâll do

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of proposals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and develop compelling, customized proposals that meet client requirements.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical proposals templates for each product line in alignment with technical subject matter experts.

  • Maintain the knowledge base of proposals, client requirements, and best practices for proposal development is an added advantage. Ensure all proposals comply with company policies, client requirements, and industry standards.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, finance, legal, Product, Human Resource, and marketing to gather necessary information and ensure the successful completion of bids leading to a market win.

  • Serve as a point of contact for clients during the bid process, addressing any queries and providing necessary clarifications. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the bid desk operations.

Who you are

  • Proven 5+ years of experience in proposal development, RFP/ RFI response, bid management, or a related field. Candidates with strong understanding of proposal best practices, including research, writing, and RFP/ RFI management.

  • Has proven writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills backed by attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Has Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and submit proposals and to lead cross functional engagement. Prior experience with any proposal management software and Salesforce is ideal.
