Company Overview -

The Wellness Shop is an online brand for cosmetic, personal care products. It has a bigger goal of promoting natural, organic, cruelty free products to the global customers. It is a brand for the people, by the people solving the real-time problem of the excess chemical exposure in the cosmetic industry.

Role and responsibilities :

1. Product Strategy :

- Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats.

- Define the product roadmap based on company goals and user needs.

2. Product Development :

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to bring a product from concept to market.

Prioritize and manage the product backlog. Collaborate with engineers and designers to create and refine product features.

3. Market Analysis :

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics. Analyze customer feedback and behavior to make informed product decisions.

4. Stakeholder Communication :

Communicate the product vision and strategy to internal teams and stakeholders. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create effective messaging and promotional materials.

5. Product Launch:

Plan and execute product launches, coordinating with various teams to ensure successful introduction to the market. Develop go-to-market strategies and campaigns.

6. Metrics and Analysis :

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the success of the product against these metrics. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and continuously improve the product.

7. User Experience (UX) :

- Advocate for a user-centric approach to product development.

- Collaborate with design teams to ensure a positive and intuitive user experience.

8. Product Lifecycle Management -

- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to retirement.

- Make data-driven decisions about when to enhance, pivot, or sunset a product.

9. Budgeting :

Manage the product budget, including resource allocation and cost control.

10. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with various departments, such as sales, marketing, customer support, and engineering, to ensure alignment and success.

11. Continuous Learning -

Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Adapt strategies based on feedback, performance metrics, and market changes.

Requirements :

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent experience is often preferred.

2. Proven experience of 4 plus years as a Product Manager, preferably in a related industry. Strong project management and organizational skills.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
