What you will be doing

  • Responsibilities include complete ownership of Automation Initiatives for CXSD, driving end-to-end (E2E) transformational changes, implementing site-reliability engineering (SRE) principles, partner the Global head in partnering GenAI/AI/ML related transformational initiatives and tracking against defined success criteria.
  • Work with Technology COEs to navigate the implementation and orchestrate the transformation by adopting into the respective functions where it is intended.
  • The role will have the demonstrated ability to adapt and a desire to lead change/improvements through executive-level influencing and relationship building across a matrixed organization.
  • She/he will possess an athleticism that allows them to move fast and pivot quickly within the culture of FIS. Executive courage, decisive leadership, and an innovative mindset are critical.  He/She will be passionate about fueling FIS’s growth for Capital Markets as well as creating opportunities to better serve clients across all FIS segments and touch points.

Driving Operational Transformation

  • The ability to create and articulate an inspiring vision for the transformational journey, from Automation to AI/ML to embracing GenAI like disruptions in the services function

  • Formulate and run short SWAT teams of varied skills to drive defined value adds

  • The inclination to seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with Capital Markets / FIS’s overall strategy.

  • An entrepreneurial and creative approach with embedded influencing skills to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch Capital Markets / FIS and push the boundaries within the industry.

  • Can identify areas where continuous improvement can be applied, oversee the implementation of the change, and measure the level of improvement.

  • Coordination and alignment with other transformation leaders across Cap Mkts functions and within CXSD stakeholders to deliver E2E agile transformation of our client journey.

What you bring:

  • Must possess a client-centric mindset and a willingness and ability to drive change.

  • Must demonstrate multiple years of experience within the Financial Services domain, as an individual contributor and leader.

  • Possesses a broad and/or deep understanding of the operational cadence of our clients.

  • Ideally possesses a familiarity with the FIS product and service suite.

  • Proven track record in client relationship management, E2E Transformational change and/or the implementation of SRE principles.

  • Displays strong leadership qualities, decision making abilities and strong business judgment, and is comfortable making tough decisions.

  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills and a confidence to negotiate and present in high pressure environments.

  • A positive & resilient nature is vital as is an immense work ethic that shows leadership by example

  • Ability & willingness for day-to-day with independence while focusing on mutually agreed objectives
