Transition and Transformation Manager

The Transition and Transformation Manager is involved in creating technology infrastructure, automation tools, and maintaining configuration management. They are accountable for conducting training sessions to the juniors in the team, and other groups regarding how to build processes wherein in the dependencies are showcased in the code. They are also answerable for the architecture and technical leadership of the complete DevOps infrastructure. The Lead Engineer also deals with tasks like management and development of continuous integration and deployment solutions across various sites.

What you’ll do:
Infrastructure setup in 1000+ employee company e.g. Data center, Network, M365 Cloud setup , End point Intune setup etcMigration of Infra from one environment to another environment (or company) such as Data center migration, On premise infra to Cloud infrastructure e.g. On premise Active directory to M365 cloudActive involvement in Merger and Acquisition where candidate could have done some work on IT integrationEnd user Support during Merger and AcquisitionThe candidate should have high level understanding on Infrastructure planning, Budget, Time estimates , Transition, Transformation of technology etcHigh level understanding on tools such as ITSM, Monitoring etc
Expertise you’ll bring:
Responsible for Transition plan creation, as per the Solution provided to customerEnsure the transition plan meets the customer requirement as per RFP and the solution proposedForecast staffing requirements for upcoming client engagements through partnering with the Business Development and SSG teamsManage resource availability and quality to meet contractual obligations and client expectationsPartner with TA team to establish staffing strategies that assure cost effective and timely support of customer requirementsValidate transition and transformation assumptions during the due diligence and contracting phases and alert offshore teams of any specialized resource needs or technical requirementsPartner with client PMO organization to establish realistic transition plansSupport client transition manager(s) in executing on agreed upon transitions / transformations plansFor each ongoing transition, monitor scope fulfillment, schedule adherence and cost in addition to performing periodic review of the progress against the detailed transition planPeriodic review of weekly and monthly status report for each ongoing transition and provide guidance to the teamPeriodically track open issues, risks and ensure they are addressed with appropriate mitigation plansParticipate in critical customer meetings (Eg: Tower review meeting, Transition Progress review meeting, Executive Steering Committee meeting)Monitor infrastructure readiness (H/w, S/w, tools, procurement status and deployment) at offshore delivery centers, hosting data center sites including Disaster Recovery sitesMonitor operational stability across all engagements within the region. Provide vision that support ongoing optimization and problem anticipationEstablish a trusted consulting relationship with customer operations management teamExperience in managing outscoring deals in Managed Services, Co-Sourced, Staff Augmentation and Transitions across multiple GeographiesExperience in designing IT Infrastructure Transition Solutions across multiple Domains and OperationsUtilize standard Transition Frameworks, Approaches and Methodology
