About the Company:
A Systemically Important Non-Deposit taking Non-Banking Finance Company looking to hire an End Point Security Expert.
The Company focuses on providing Education Loans to Indian students for studies both in India and Abroad. The Company presently has a book size of over Rs. 24,000 crores
Responsibilities
- Microsoft O365 Support: Provide comprehensive support for Microsoft O365 applications, including troubleshooting issues, setting up accounts, and providing user training.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Address and resolve technical issues related to antivirus software, cloud proxy configurations, patch management, and other common end-user problems.
- Hardware Setup: Configure and deploy new laptops, desktops, printers, and other peripherals for end-users.
- Network Maintenance: Perform local LAN and network maintenance, including diagnosing and fixing connectivity issues, and ensuring stable and secure network operations at branch locations.
- Printer Configuration: Set up and maintain printers and other office equipment, ensuring seamless integration with the network.
- Patching and Updates: Manage and apply software patches and updates to ensure all systems are up-to-date and secure.
- ITIL Compliance: Follow ITIL principles for incident management, problem management, and service request fulfilment to ensure efficient and effective IT support processes.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies, best practices, and security policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the IT service management system.
- Team Management: Oversee the work of FM support teams across remote branches, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Inventory and Asset Management: Maintain and manage inventory of IT assets, ensuring proper tracking, deployment, and disposal of equipment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to ensure seamless IT operations and support.
Skills
- Proficiency in supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft O365 applications.
- Experience with antivirus software management and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of cloud proxy solutions (e.g., Zscaler, Netskope).
- Hands-on experience with patch management and software updates.
- Expertise in printer configuration and maintenance.
- Familiarity with local LAN and network troubleshooting.
- Understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or ITIL Foundation.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in end-user support, with a strong background in Microsoft O365 support.
