Job Purpose: The Commercial Director is responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy of the organization to achieve revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability. The role requires expertise in air quality management solutions, including sales, marketing, partnerships, and client relationship management, to position the company as a leader in the industry.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Strategic Leadership:

•Develop and implement the company’s commercial strategy in alignment with business objectives and market demands.

•Identify opportunities for business growth in the air quality management sector, including new markets, products, and partnerships.

•Set revenue and profitability goals, and create action plans to achieve them.


2. Sales and Business Development:

•Drive sales initiatives to secure large-scale projects and partnerships with government agencies, corporates, and NGOs.

•Lead the sales team in achieving sales targets through strategic account management and pipeline development.

•Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, policymakers, and clients.


3. Marketing and Branding:

•Oversee the development of marketing campaigns and materials to promote air quality solutions and services.

•Ensure the company’s value proposition is effectively communicated to potential and existing clients.

•Analyse market trends and competitor activities to refine marketing and sales strategies.


4. Operational and Financial Management:

•Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of commercial activities.

•Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for the executive team on sales, revenue, and market share.

•Work closely with operational teams to ensure seamless delivery of air quality management solutions.


5. Team Leadership and Development:

•Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales and marketing team.

•Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity within the team.

•Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.

•Revenue growth and profitability.

•Market share and customer acquisition.

•Success of new market entries and partnerships.

•Team performance and engagement.
