An emerging Facility Management Firm named SRM Services (www.srmservices.org) is looking for suitable candidates for the position of Business Development Manager
Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the facility management company. This role involves market research, lead generation, sales strategy development, and contract negotiation to expand the company's client base and enhance its market presence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, commercial, Residential, and industrial facility management.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and customer needs.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, property managers, and facility heads.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and digital marketing.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations with potential clients.
3. Tendering & Proposal Management:
- Identify and participate in facility management tenders, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Prepare cost estimations, pricing strategies, and bid submissions.
- Collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
4. Revenue & Profitability Management:
- Develop strategic partnerships to enhance service offerings and revenue streams.
- Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
- Work with finance and operations teams to ensure service profitability and cost-effectiveness.
5. Marketing & Brand Promotion:
- Support marketing initiatives such as advertising campaigns, trade shows, and online promotions.
- Maintain an active presence on social media and professional platforms (LinkedIn, industry forums, etc.).
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop brochures, case studies, and promotional materials.
Key Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in facility management, real estate, or corporate services.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios.
- Experience in B2B sales, corporate client acquisition, and key account management.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Market analysis and strategic planning expertise.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple sales cycles.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office.
