Education: B.E. / B. Tech in Electronics



Experience: 8 – 10 years of Engineering experience in Broadcast Technology



Location: Mumbai



Reporting Relationship: Engineering Manager



Business/Channel/Function: Broadcast Operations and Network Engineering



Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cisco Certified Network Engineer with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing complex network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Cisco switching technologies and a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network solutions in large-scale environments.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Network Design and Implementation:
  • Design, deploy, and manage advanced network solutions using Cisco switches and related technologies.
  • Plan and execute network expansions, upgrades, and migrations with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Configuration and Optimization:
  • Configure and optimize Cisco switches, routers, and other network devices to ensure high performance and availability.
  • Implement and maintain VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and other advanced switching protocols.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Lead the troubleshooting of complex network issues, providing swift resolutions to minimize downtime.
  • Serve as a key escalation point for critical network incidents and outages.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Implement network security policies and practices, including access controls, firewalls, and intrusion prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies for network security and data protection.


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher (e.g., CCIE) is required.
  • Experience:
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco switching technologies.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Expert knowledge of Cisco switches
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
