Collabera is looking for an IT Presales Engineer to be part of our India team, based out of Bangalore. This role involves collaborating closely with the US sales team, understanding client requirements, and designing solutions that address specific business challenges.


Job Role: IT PreSales Engineer

Job Location: Bangalore

Shift Timings: US shift (5:30pm - 2:30am IST)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their business requirements and technical challenges. Provide expert guidance on how IT solutions can address these challenges effectively.
  • Presales Strategy: Develop and execute presales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and achieve business targets.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with the sales team to design customized IT solutions and engagement models that align with client needs.
  • Proposal Development: Create comprehensive proposals and presentations outlining proposed IT solutions. Clearly articulate the value proposition, technical benefits, and ROI to clients.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape. Leverage technical expertise to differentiate the organization's offerings and provide thought leadership to clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales and Delivery teams to ensure seamless transition from presales to post-sales activities. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Client Engagement and Presentations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their evolving needs and providing ongoing support and guidance. Serve as a trusted advisor and technical point of contact for clients. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal defense sessions as needed to present and discuss proposed solutions
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing initiatives within the presales team. Provide feedback on product enhancements and market insights to drive innovation and competitiveness.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT presales, solution architecture, or technical consultancy roles.
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on designing innovative and practical solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and a customer-centric approach.
