Job Description:


Work Location: Hybrid (Bangalore)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive transition plans for IT applications, outlining objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including IT teams, business units, vendors, and external partners to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment throughout the transition process.
  • Implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize resistance from end-users and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may arise during the transition, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate resources, including personnel, technology, and budget allocations, to support transition activities and optimize resource utilization.
  • Establish metrics and performance indicators to assess the quality and effectiveness of transition activities, conducting regular reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of transition plans, milestones, decisions, and outcomes, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop training materials and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure that end-users are equipped with the necessary skills and information to adapt to new applications or technologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback, analyzing lessons learned, and implementing best practices to enhance future transition processes.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in IT project management, preferably with a focus on application transitions or migrations.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of application development, deployment, and support processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Prior experience into in managing and delivering successful transitions and application consolidation
  • Solid experience in Transition framework, ASSET Framework, ASM Practices
  • Strong experience in transitioning multiple 3rd party services and vendor consolidations
  • Strong experience in Agile execution, CANBAN, SCRUM and Sprint delivery
