Job Summary:
The Head of Marketing (B2B) is responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy to achieve the company's business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of B2B marketing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive high-impact marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams, brand positioning, lead generation, and customer relationship management within the B2B space.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and target audiences.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define marketing goals, KPIs, and budgets.
Brand Management:
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and consistency across all channels.
- Enhance brand visibility and reputation within the B2B market.
Demand Generation:
- Lead the development and execution of lead generation campaigns, including email marketing, content marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and events.
- Monitor and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and conversion rates.
Content Strategy:
- Develop and manage a content marketing strategy that resonates with the target audience.
- Ensure the creation of high-quality, relevant content such as white papers, case studies, webinars, and blog posts.
Sales Enablement:
- Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales tools, presentations, and collateral.
- Support sales efforts by providing insights into customer needs and preferences.
Digital Marketing:
- Oversee the company’s digital marketing initiatives, including website management, PPC, and marketing automation.
- Utilize data analytics to track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve team objectives.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the marketing department.
Partnerships & Alliances:
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships and alliances that can enhance the company’s market position.
- Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to execute marketing initiatives.
Budget Management:
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across campaigns and initiatives.
- Track and report on budget performance, making adjustments as needed.
Customer Insights:
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform marketing strategies.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine targeting and messaging efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on B2B.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful B2B marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a marketing team.
- Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Proficient in marketing analytics tools and CRM platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and drive execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in managing marketing budgets and vendor relationships.
