JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Copywriter will be responsible for developing and delivering creative content that will engage our audience and resonate with our clients. This individual will have a strong understanding of both mainline and digital advertising, with a portfolio showcasing this broad expertise. The ideal candidate will be a highly creative, flexible, and motivated individual who can both take initiative and work well within a team.

We're seeking talented copywriters with a strong ability to generate creative yet practical ideas and craft them into compelling copy


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create engaging and innovative copy for a variety of media including social, online, print, radio, and television.
  • Work closely with the art department and creative director to develop cohesive and impactful advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with strategic planners and account executives to understand client objectives and strategy, and translate them into creative concepts.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative brief developments.
  • Proofread and edit copy to ensure high-quality standards are met before client delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers' views and attitudes to create relevant advertising.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of advertising principles, strategies, and techniques.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mainline and digital advertising practices.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy.
  • Understands SEO and its impact on copywriting for digital platforms.
  • Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into compelling copy.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with commonly used style guides.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
