Position Overview:


As the Category Manager for Ophthalmology, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development, management, and growth of our Ophthalmology product category. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure the successful execution of the category strategy. Your role will involve identifying market trends, sourcing products, managing supplier relationships, and driving revenue growth within the Ophthalmology category.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for Nephrology products, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.


Creation and maintenance of the Ophthalmology category's product catalogue, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information, images, and specifications.


Ensure consistency and accuracy in product categorization, attributes, and filters to enhance customer search and navigation


Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and competitive landscape in the Ophthalmology market.


Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and establish strong relationships to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products.


Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling product content, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives that resonate with the target audience.


Monitor category performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track progress against targets and KPIs.


Collaborate with customer service to address product-related inquiries, issues, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
