Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Category Manager - Fashion (Men, Women and Kids wear) at our Gurugram location. You will be responsible for overall management and growth of fashion vertical in both e-commerce and offline channels.

You will:

  • Work in cross-functional teams to develop products that our customers love
  • Work on overall product presentation (visual product presentation, content creation for each product, photo and video shoots, packaging, labels etc.)
  • Oversee the assortment, inventory, pricing, and promotion of products in fashion category.
  • You will also analyse market trends, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Create proprietary analytical models to optimise product assortment, inventory, production runs etc.


Qualifications

  • Category Management and Procurement skills in fast paced e-commerce / retail environment in fashion, beauty or related categories
  • Analytical Ninja to assess market trends and make data-driven decisions
  • Contract negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers
  • Sales experience to drive revenue growth within the category
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills to manage the assortment effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field
  • Experience in the retail industry is a plus
