AGEasy by Antara is a leading Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brand fully owned subsidiary of Max Group. We're a fast-paced and growing company, and we're looking for a talented Assistant Manager Category to join our team in the consumer electronics space.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Category Lead to develop and execute strategic plans for assigned consumer electronics categories.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Manage product lifecycles, including product selection, sourcing, pricing, and promotion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Oversee inventory management and forecasting to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement in product assortment, pricing, and promotions.
  • Develop and manage product content for the D2C website and marketing materials.
  • Support the launch of new products, including developing marketing campaigns and managing pre-order processes.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic and conversion rates to optimize the customer experience.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability within the category.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless product launch and ongoing success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2-4 years of experience in a category management role, preferably within the D2C or consumer electronics industry.
  • Strong understanding of consumer electronics market trends and product lifecycles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with market research and competitor analysis.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage strategic plans.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with eCommerce platform management (e.g., Shopify) a plus.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics) a plus.
