Job Description:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) specializing in the North American Market, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying potential leads, engaging with prospects, and setting up qualified appointments for our Sales team. You will be responsible for understanding the unique needs and challenges of E-commerce businesses within the Shopify ecosystem, and effectively communicating how our solutions can address those needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate leads within the North American Market,
primarily targeting E-commerce businesses utilizing Shopify.
2. Qualify leads through strategic outreach via phone, email, social media, and other channels,
ensuring alignment with our target customer profile.
3. Engage with prospects to understand their business objectives, pain points, and challenges
to position our solutions effectively.
4. Educate prospects on the value proposition of our e-commerce platform, emphasizing
key features and benefits tailored to their specific needs.
5. Collaborate closely with the Sales team to schedule qualified appointments and facilitate
smooth handoffs of leads.
6. Utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to manage and track lead interactions, maintain
accurate records, and report on pipeline activity and progress.
7. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to
effectively differentiate our solutions in the marketplace.
8. Continuously refine and optimize outbound prospecting strategies and messaging based on
performance metrics and feedback.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
● Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar role, preferably within the E-commerce or SaaS industry.
● Strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape, particularly within the Shopify ecosystem.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with prospects via phone, email, and other channels.
● Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets and KPIs.
● Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
in a fast-paced environment.
● Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation tools is a plus.
● Knowledge of digital marketing principles and tactics is desirable.
