The RSM is responsible for the overall planning and execution of sales and marketing functions in the assigned region. This includes creating budgets and forecasts, analyzing performance against these plans, and driving revenue and growth to increase market share. The RSM will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies.


The RSM will take full ownership of end-to-end sales and marketing activities, formulate product market strategies for existing and new products, and identify and develop new customers/markets for profitable growth. They will act as the primary company representative for the Engineering Polymers business and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders. They will also respond to all enquiries and RFQs in time, send quotations, clarify technical and commercial aspects, and submit samples for approval.


The RSM will also be responsible for ensuring collections are made within due dates and out-standings are kept at a minimum. They will organize sales promotional activities such as tech shows, technical seminars, demonstrations, exhibitions, and new product launches.


The ideal candidate must have an engineering degree in Polymers/Plastics technology/engineering from a reputed college/institute/CIPET. An additional MBA (marketing) degree will be an advantage. They must have 15-18 years of experience in sales and marketing of polymer/engineering polymers. Experience in the Electrical & Automotive industry will be an advantage. They should be a team player, disciplined, analytical minded, and have strong customer relationship skills, good networking & PR in the market, and good communication skills.


This role reports to the Head of Sales & Marketing/compounding business/Advanced Materials. The RSM will have a sales turnover of around 200 Cr in 2024-25 with a regional split % of 40:30:30 for North, West, and South respectively. The RSM will have direct subordinates and will be responsible for multiple product categories. The geographic responsibility and other details will be specified later.
