Deputy Manager/ Manager

Purpose:


The jobholder is responsible for ensuring sound infrastructure, office facilities and logistic support to meet business objectives. He/ She will further be responsible for planning and implementing projects for new office infrastructure, on a pan - India basis. Additionally, the jobholder will be required to manage project and administrative costs within allocated budgets


Main Priorities:

  • Establish procedures and plans for establishing offices (on project basis) and infrastructure as per predefined quality, cost and timeline parameters
  • Monitor implementation of office maintenance and administration systems, including facilities maintenance, logistics, front office and communication systems
  • Ensure proper maintenance of records and timely settlement of billing and reporting of MIS, including project and operational costs
  • Ensure statutory and other compliance in all matters relating to office infrastructure, facilities and maintenance
  • Effective vendor management
  • Develop cost effective methods/ solutions through negotiations with vendors, tight control over expenses and other relevant initiatives leading to reduction in overhead costs and cost savings for the Company


Qualifications:


B.E. (Civil/ Electrical) and/ or Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management. Gained experience through working in organizations of international repute preferably in Project Management consulting.


Skills/ Knowledge:


  • Project Management experience
  • Planning, budgeting and delivering as per the mandate
  • Ability to envision plan, world class office premises and systems
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to operate with senior management
  • Effective communication, leadership and problem solving skills
  • Ability to leverage technology to enhance work productivity


Experience:

  • 5 - 7 years of experience, of which minimum 3 years should be in managing large projects vis - à - vis buildings/ interiors
  • Prior experience in establishing a large administration function with multiple office locations
