Role Profile: Accounts Head
Job Summary:
The Accounts Head is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective financial management across multiple branch offices. This role involves strategic planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and leading the accounts team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management and Reporting.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting.
3. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable Management.
5. Team Leadership and Development.
6. Strategic Financial Planning.
7. Branch Office Coordination.
8. Financial Analysis and Risk Management.
Key Skills and Competencies:
• Financial Expertise: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and corporate finance.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate the accounts team.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address financial issues and challenges.
• Ethical Practice: High degree of integrity and professionalism in managing financial activities.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
