Job Title: HR Payroll and Compliance Specialist

Location: Bangalore

Experience Required: 3-5 years


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Payroll and Compliance Specialist to manage payroll processes

and ensure compliance with statutory regulations for both blue-collar and white-collar employees. The

ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of payroll management, labour laws, and statutory

compliances applicable in India. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy, timely processing, and

adherence to legal standards.


Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll Management:

o Process payroll for blue-collar and white-collar employees accurately and on time.

o Manage salary disbursement, deductions, bonuses, and overtime payments.

o Ensure accurate maintenance of payroll records, including attendance, leave, and

other entitlements.

o Handle payroll queries and discrepancies promptly and professionally.

• Compliance:

o Ensure adherence to all statutory compliances including Provident Fund (PF),

Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax, Gratuity, and Income Tax (TDS).

o Prepare and file statutory returns and payments on time.

o Stay updated with changes in labor laws and regulations and implement necessary

changes in payroll processes.

o Coordinate with auditors for payroll and statutory audits.

• Employee Benefits Administration:

o Manage employee benefits including health insurance, gratuity, leave encashment,

and other perks.

o Ensure proper documentation and processing of employee benefits.

• Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain employee records including contract details, performance records, and

statutory compliance documents.

o Generate and submit payroll-related reports to management.

o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on payroll expenses, tax deductions,

and compliance status.

o Handle grievances related to payroll and statutory benefits.

o Conduct periodic reviews of payroll procedures to improve efficiency.


Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, Business Administration, or

related field.

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in payroll management and statutory compliance for

blue-collar and white-collar employees in India.

• Skills:

o Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliances.

o Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

o Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

o Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with

discretion.

o Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
