Position Overview:

The Procurement Associate will provide critical administrative and operational support to the Academic Delivery Team. This role involves procuring and managing eLearning assets, including reading materials, journals, case studies, and tools & technologies used in our courses. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and a desire to work in a dynamic ed-tech environment. Building and maintaining relationships with vendor partners is also a key component of this role.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Academic Delivery Team.
  • Process and manage purchase orders and invoices from vendors.
  • Monitor and report vendor costs, ensuring timely and accurate accountability to senior management.
  • Review, process, and file invoices and other financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and budget compliance.
  • Compile, review, and extract information from financial databases to prepare necessary reports.
  • Maintain and gather information for processing operational reports.
  • Suggest and implement improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners.
  • Conduct research to identify new vendors and assess their suitability for our needs.
  • Manage and maintain vendor databases with up-to-date information.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to ensure favorable outcomes for the company.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably with 1-2 years in P2P (Procure to Pay) cycle / vendor management.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and complete assigned duties with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented team environment.
  • Takes initiative and provides great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen effectively and respond appropriately, with written and verbal English proficiency.
  • Strong database management skills.
  • Proven research skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation.
