Role Description

To further accelerate our international market presence, we are looking for an experienced Sales Head (Inbound, Leisure) to lead our sales strategy and execution in India, focusing on building and nurturing relationships with foreign tour operators and travel agencies, particularly from English-speaking markets like US, UK, Canada and Australia. This is a full-time remote role in India.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, focusing on foreign tour operators, travel agencies and individual travel consultants
  • Drive lead generation and follow up with sales calls, meetings, and presentations
  • Attend international travel trade shows and events to represent WizTrek and establish new partnerships
  • Design and develop unique, value-driven travel packages for international clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create customized itineraries that cater to client needs
  • Achieve sales targets through market analysis, strategy development, and relationship management


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in inbound travel sales, with a preference for work experience with leading Indian DMCs, tour operators, and travel platforms selling to overseas tour operators and travel agencies
  • Proven ability to generate international leads and convert them into successful clients
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal) with excellent communication skills
  • Experience with India as a tourism destination and its various travel offerings
  • Familiarity with sales operations, including itinerary planning, costing, and documentation
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
