Job Description: National Sales & Marketing Manager Stainless Steel Industry

 

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor of Engineering / Technology (BE / B.Tech) (Mechanical / Metallurgy / Chemical). Preference may be given to candidates with and MBA in Marketing, Business Development

Experience: Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience as head of Sales & Marketing in Metals / Manufacturing / Engineering Industry

Career Prospects: Extensive leadership training will be provided to groom the candidate for higher positions within the company based on performance.

Reporting to: CEO

Work Location: Bangalore

Travel: The candidate will be required to travel extensively to meet the customers.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by Pegasus team over the phone and if found suitable the resumes will be forwarded to our client for further discussion, personal / web interview and an aptitude test.

Appointment is subject to a probation period of six months, and upon satisfactory completion leading to confirmation of fulltime appointment.

Management expectation: An employment commitment of at least 5 to 10 years 


Job description:

·       Responsible for setting up a pan India Sales and Marketing structure and systems

·       Responsible for complete Sales and Marketing cycle from prospecting to sales closing including payment receivables

·       Generate segment wise leads and connect with key decision makers

·       Should be able to create and lead a team of internal and field sales and marketing executives and constantly upgrade their relevant skills.

·       Achieve daily, weekly monthly quarterly and yearly sales targets in tune with management expectations and provide MIS reports

·       Scrutinise and approve sales quotations, negotiate with clients for closing sales

·       Responsible for advertising, marketing, business development, complete CRM and customer complaints

·       Market intelligence including competitor activities

·       Creation of database of customer profiles

·       Understand customer needs and suggest usage of stainless steel for new applications

·       Plan sales promotion activities like participation in exhibitions and industry related events for clients both current and prospective, for expanding business.

·       Coordinate with relevant agencies for creation of advertising material, corporate and product videos. 

·       Capability to understand company’s product range and process knowledge to be able to offer relevant solutions to the Clients.

·       Make presentation about the company to clients, industry associations and professional institutions.

·       Should have sound techno commercial knowledge of steel / stainless steel industry

. Should have contacts and networking with Stainless Steel Industry , Segments & OEMs

·       Should have a proven industry record with 2 professional references 

·       Attention to detail, achieve time bound deadlines, good time management and ability to perform under pressure.

. Excellent negotiation skills

·       Be a team player, and maintain confidentially of IP, staff and company information

·       Fluent in English and have excellent communication skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

·       Proven thorough ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written, verbal and visual communication.

·       Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

·       Should have sound experience of digital and social media marketing and experience of working on ERP platforms.

·       Should have and overview of pan India industrial growth and global steel industry markets

·       Understanding of Life Cycle Costing of material usage
