Overview:

We seek a dynamic Content Marketer with a strong blend of data-driven strategy and copywriting skills. The ideal candidate should have a proven background in content writing and will be instrumental in crafting and executing a content strategy that bolsters organic reach and engagement, primarily through our blog and social channels. As the first content marketing hire,  you will focus on creating compelling, SEO-optimized content that drives inbounds and brand awareness.


The ideal candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding of content marketing dynamics, particularly in organic growth, and possess exceptional skills in creative writing and storytelling.


Areas of work:

  1. Conduct research and analyze trends in content and SEO to keep our blog cutting-edge, engaging, and effective in attracting and retaining users.
  2. Creating and managing a diverse content calendar specifically for the blog, including articles, interviews, case studies, and industry insights.
  3. Consistently publish 2 to 3 high-quality blog posts weekly.
  4. Develop and maintain product tutorials, glossaries, and other content on our website.
  5. Content partnerships for higher distribution such as guest articles, shoutouts, and listings like adding Blitzllama to top tools lists.
  6. Build our LinkedIn and Twitter presence.


Goals:

  1. Increase inbound signups (primary).
  2. Position Blitzllama as an innovative authority in the user insights space.


Ideal qualities:

  1. A minimum of two years of experience in content creation, marketing, or similar. Bonus: written content with significant outcomes (traffic, conversions, etc.) or previous experience writing about SaaS tools.
  2. Bachelor's degree in literature, journalism, marketing, communications, or similar
  3. Highly creative, with a love for experimentation.
  4. Strong commitment to get work done.
  5. Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and a strong data-driven mindset
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  7. Self-motivated with the ability to upskill and operate independently.
