Role: - SAP Technical Application Specialist


Experience Required: 15+ Years


Job Summary:We are seeking a Senior SAP Technical Practitioner & Application Support Specialist to lead SAP BASIS, SAP HANA DB, BW4/HANA, SAP Cloud Connector, and BTP platforms. Candidate should be well verse with compliance, audit and security postures across various SAP environments. This role is responsible in maintaining system integrity, mitigating risks, supporting ongoing and enhancing SAP landscape.


Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 15 years in SAP Technical Practitioner, with a strong background in SAP BASIS, SAP HANA, BW, Cloud Connector, and SAP BTP.


Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing SAP environments, including RFC integration and database administration. Mandate to have SAP Cloud integration and platform support.

S4Hana and BW4Hana version upgrade related project should be preferable.


Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of SOX/ITGC audit requirements and experience in ensuring compliance.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in resolving technical issues within SAP platforms.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, with experience in engaging with audit teams and other stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:1. SAP BASIS and BW Management:

  • Enable to handle complex system
  • Skilled to perform the S4HANA and BW4/HANA Version Upgrade
  • Ensure RUN and Maintenance of SAP BASIS and BW platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX/ITGC audit parameters, resolving any issues as recommended by SAP tools and internal security teams.
  • Ensure that technical operations remain non-compliant (NC) free.

2. SAP HANA Database Administration:

  • Lead the management and upgrades of SAP HANA databases.
  • Lead the technical assessments in line with SAP and Standard Compliance guidelines.

3. SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform):

  • Manage and enhance SAP solutions and integration points on BTP.
  • Implement cloud services within SAP BTP, supporting technical migrations.
  • Manage subtenants during service enhancements along with connectivity to on premise systems( cloud connector)

4. Audit and Security Compliance:

  • Adhere to SAP processes and Infosec terms. Work closely with Partners to meet the Audit and Security Compliance
  • Work with partners to maintain SOPs, ensuring all technical activities meet audit standards.
  • Engage with internal and external audit teams and SAP/ Partner, ensuring timely response and resolution of highlighted risks.
  • Address vulnerabilities according to severity ratings and agreed timelines.

5. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for S4 BASIS activities, guiding teams to meet SAP standards.
  • Enhancement and improvisation of ongoing SAP Projects - BASIS, S4HANA, BW/4HANA and BTP.
