Brand Manager - Marketing and Communications


Location: ISB Campus - Hyderabad

The Marketing and Communications Department at ISB leads brand building initiatives for the School. It supervises and directs the workflow of the School's outreach through marketing channels (website, events, social media, online, print, etc.), advertising, and public relations functions. It also works with other departments within and outside the School to enhance, protect and safeguard the institution's brand value across the globe and across all channels.

We ae looking for a candidate who could join the team as Brand Manager who will be responsible for all the brand related activities for mother brand ISB. This business critical role will drive strategic thinking and execution excellence to build brand marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels


The position holder will report to the Senior Brand Manager


Key responsibilities

  • Act as brand custodian for the brand ISB and build its brand strategy
  • Define the marketing and communications strategy across channels and customer cohorts to deliver the business goals
  • Leverage customer insights to understand the overall brand health and build relevant brand properties and campaigns to drive brand metrics
  • Drive creative and communication development to ensure consistent and concise messaging to the customers
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders like Content team, digital marketing teams, cross functional teams like product marketing teams to drive shared goals
  • Collaborate with external agencies like Research Creative, Digital, Media, PR to drive brand priorities and its execution
  • Influence without authority a wide bench of senior stakeholders to shape and deliver the customer and business priorities
  • Build the right processes and mechanisms to empower your team to execute and optimize efficiently and enable fast decision making.


Candidate profile

  • 4+ years of marketing/brand management experience with deep marketing knowledge.
  • Broad experience across a wide span of disciplines including strategy, media, Customer acquisition & engagement, and/or product marketing.
  • Experience of working with various agencies like research, creative, digital, media and PR.

Preferred marketing experience in FMCG/Telecom industries

Keen eye for consumer insights and creative development with sharp messaging.

Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to work with multiple stakeholders environment.
