Responsibilities

Accounting:

  • Process all accounts payable transactions including vendor bills and credit card charges with high accuracy and proper classification.
  • Generate vendor checks and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Perform accounts receivable duties, ensuring accurate posting and classification of daily transactions, preparing deposit slips, and maintaining comprehensive records.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to prepare daily and weekly management reports and financial reports for management as needed.
  • Process weekly payroll, maintain employee records, administer all garnishments and withholdings, and manage vacation and PTO requests.


Human Resources:

  • Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing queries, interpreting policies, and helping resolve work-related issues.
  • Administer benefits, conduct new hire and exit interviews, and ensure employees understand their benefit coverages.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, fair employment practices, and government regulations.
  • Manage critical employee documentation such as the Employee Handbook and disciplinary communications.
  • Organize and conduct new employee orientations to align new hires with organizational objectives.
  • Assist in identifying staff vacancies, recruit, interview, and select applicants.


Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in implementing human resources programs and accounting. More experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Tally software and experience in accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger duties.
  • Familiarity with automated accounting systems, preferably Great Plains.
  • A conscientious and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all levels within the company, from senior executives to front-line employees.
