Roles and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the set-up and onboarding of regional chain accounts.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships through regular engagement.
  • Implement strategic initiatives in Joint Business Plan (JBP) accounts, including new product introductions, product assortment planning, and brand campaigns.
  • Improve customer management processes, understanding account needs and expansion plans.
  • Manage purchase orders, ensure timely order execution, and oversee collections.
  • Conduct fill-rate analysis, timely settlement of debit and credit notes, and intervene as necessary.
  • Collect, analyse, and report data to assist in drawing meaningful inferences; track product expiry and returns.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Division teams, etc.) to ensure timely execution of promotions, stock availability, events, and driving offtakes.


The Ideal Profile

  • In-depth understanding of Modern Trade, preferably from the Beauty and Personal Care sector.
  • At least 4 years of proven experience managing regional Modern Trade (MT) chains.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong business acumen and a strong drive for achieving numerical targets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and ability to draw actionable insights from data.
  • Strong multi-stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel for 12-15 days per month.
