Key Responsibilities:

  1. Medical Strategy Development:

Develop and execute the medical strategy for the infant formula portfolio, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements to maximize product efficacy and safety.


  1. Clinical Development Oversight:

Provide medical leadership and guidance in the design, implementation, and interpretation of clinical trials and studies to support the development and registration of infant nutrition products.

  1. Scientific Engagement:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, pediatricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to enhance scientific understanding and promote the clinical benefits of our infant formula range.


  1. Medical Affairs Support:

Collaborate with medical affairs teams to develop scientific materials, educational programs, and medical communications that effectively communicate the clinical evidence and value proposition of our infant nutrition products.


  1. Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, pharmacovigilance obligations, and medical ethics standards in all medical activities related to the infant formula portfolio.


  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, regulatory affairs, and product development, to integrate medical insights into product positioning, marketing strategies, and lifecycle management initiatives.


  1. Continuous Medical Education:

Lead and support medical education initiatives for healthcare professionals, including organizing scientific symposia, seminars, and webinars to disseminate clinical knowledge and best practices in infant nutrition.


  1. Market Intelligence:

Stay abreast of emerging trends, scientific advancements, competitor activities, and market dynamics in the infant nutrition sector, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Medical degree (MBBS / Equivalent degree) in Pediatrics, Nutrition, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or medical marketing within the pharmaceutical or nutrition industry, with specific expertise in infant nutrition preferred.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies, regulatory requirements, and medical ethics governing the development and promotion of healthcare products.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, regulatory authorities, and internal teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset, capable of driving cross-functional alignment and executing medical strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Proficiency in scientific data interpretation, medical writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex medical information effectively to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
