Job Description

The role of the Trainer will be to implement the EcoChamps program in coordination with the school management and teachers in theassigned partner schools, and work with students to execute the programinterventions.

Eco-Champs is an environment sensitisation program toempower students, and become proactive practitioners of eco-friendly lifestylethrough an immersive and hands-on experience spanned across 3-5 months. Theprogram also builds 21st-century life skills including compassion, teamwork,critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in the children to enablechange in their communities.

Role andResponsibilities:

ProgramImplementation - Work directly with school administrators and staff in thedevelopment, implementation, and evaluation of Eco Champsprogram in the assigned schools.
Planning &Scheduling - Prepare timetables for classes in order to achieve programobjectives and complete the planned sessions on time.
Ensure smooth functioning and implementation of program activities at theschool including assessments, student identification, workshops, events,reporting etc. Hold self-accountable for the day-to-day event execution & operations
Immediate troubleshooting and resolution of challenges working along with theoperations and support team, vendors and other stakeholders
Assessments -Adopting a data-driven attitude towards measuring learner progress. Conductingassessments for the students to evaluate the current levels and the impact ofthe program. Plan and execute effective peer-driven Learning Circles, technicalsupport such as grade level circles and training sessions to improve theprogram impact on students.
Data management -Collaborate with the school management and teachers in collecting program- specificdata for MIS. Timely submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports andupdates of the program. 

EducationalQualification/Experience:

Educational Degree : Graduate/Post Graduate
Relevant Experience(in years) : 0-2

Strong interpersonal, communication and supervisionSkills
Good Presentation skills
Good orientation of MS Office
Good understanding of the pedagogical aspects involved inteaching children.
Good people engagement, networking and listening skills
Ability to drive outcome-oriented plans through theteam’s collective effort
Critical thinking and problem solving
Emotional maturity to build relationships, empathize withthe perspectives/needs of team members and develop others
Highly resourceful and also self-driven
Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunitiesand proposes solutions.
