Head of Human Resources

Asthe Head of Human Resources you will play a pivotal role in shapingand executing our HR strategy to support our company s goals andobjectives. You will be responsible for developing and implementingHR policies and procedures managing employee relationsadministering benefits programs and ensuring compliance withrelevant employment laws and regulations. Your expertise will guideour HR operations and contribute to building a positive andproductive workplaceenvironment.
MainResponsibilities:
Developmentand Implementation of HRPolicies:
- Design andimplement comprehensive HR policies and procedures that align withthe company s strategic objectives. Ensure that these policiessupport our organizational goals enhance employee satisfaction andcomply with legal requirements.
- Regularlyreview and update HR policies to reflect changes in laws industrybest practices and company needs. Collaborate with seniormanagement to ensure these policies are effectively communicatedand enforced across theorganization.
EmployeeRelations and BenefitsManagement:
- Overseeall aspects of employee relations including handling employeegrievances conducting investigations and implementing conflictresolution strategies. Foster a positive and inclusive workplaceculture where employees feel valued andsupported.
- Manage and administer employeebenefits programs including health insurance retirement plans andother perks. Evaluate and recommend enhancements to benefitsofferings to ensure competitiveness and employeesatisfaction.
HumanResources Information Systems (HRIS)Management:
- Overseethe management and optimization of the Human Resources InformationSystems (HRIS). Ensure the system s functionality supports accurateand timely recordkeeping of employee information payroll and otherHRrelated data.
- Implement and maintain robustdata management practices to ensure the confidentiality andintegrity of employee records. Troubleshoot and resolve anyHRISrelated issues in collaboration with IT and externalvendors.
Compliancewith Employment Laws andRegulations:
- Ensurethe company s HR practices comply with all relevant local state andfederal employment laws and regulations. Stay updated on legalchanges and industry trends to proactively address potentialcompliance issues.
- Conduct regular audits of HRpractices and processes to identify areas for improvement andensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Develop andimplement corrective action plans asneeded.
Leadershipand TeamManagement:
- Lead andmentor the HR team providing guidance and support to ensure highperformance and professional development. Foster a collaborativeand resultsoriented team environment.
- Workclosely with other department heads and senior leaders to align HRstrategies with business objectives. Provide strategic advice andsupport on HRrelated matters including talent managementorganizational development and employeeengagement.
StrategicHRInitiatives:
- Developand execute HR programs and initiatives that drive organizationaleffectiveness and support employee engagement. Implement strategiesfor talent acquisition performance management leadershipdevelopment and succession planning.
- Analyze HRmetrics and trends to provide datadriven insights andrecommendations for improving HR practices and organizationalperformance.
MustHaveRequirements:
EducationalBackground:
- A Masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a relatedfield is required. This advanced education should be complementedby extensive experience in HR leadershiproles.
Experience:
- Aminimum of 6 years of experience in a senior HR position ideallywithin the manufacturing or packaging sector. Proven track recordin managing complex HR functions and leading HRteams.
Expertisein HRPrinciples:
- Strongknowledge of HR principles and practices including employeerelations benefits administration compliance and organizationaldevelopment. Demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge toaddress diverse HR challenges and drive positiveoutcomes.
Leadershipand CommunicationSkills:
- Excellentleadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate HR teammembers and other employees. Strong communication skills toeffectively interact with all levels of the organization andrepresent the HRfunction.
Analyticaland StrategicThinking:
- Stronganalytical skills with the ability to assess HR metrics identifytrends and develop datadriven strategies. Strategic thinker withthe ability to align HR initiatives with overall businessobjectives.
ProblemSolvingAbilities:
- Provenproblemsolving skills with the ability to address complex HR issuesand implement effective solutions. Capacity to manage multiplepriorities and navigate challenging situations with asolutionsorientedapproach.
