Human Resources Manager

VFM Group is a Bengaluru-based multi-sector organization with a legacy of innovation and excellence dating back to 1954. The Group operates across diverse industries, including automotive, software technology, real estate development, and philanthropy, under brands such as VFM Honda, Honda BigWing Bengaluru East, VFM Ducati Bengaluru, and Mutant (X).
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to manage HR activities for our operations, primarily focusing on VFM Motors and providing limited support for our software division, Mutant (X).
The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for all HR functions across VFM Group. The role will start with a focus on the automotive brands—VFM Honda, Honda BigWing Bengaluru East, and VFM Ducati Bengaluru—ensuring the alignment of HR practices with the company’s objectives. They will also oversee organizational development, compliance, recruitment, employee engagement, and training programs, creating a cohesive and supportive work environment.
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent across all divisions.
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance review processes and implement strategies for continuous employee development and growth.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusion, ensuring high employee satisfaction and morale.
- Training and Development: Design and execute employee training programs to enhance skills and career progression.
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of workplace ethics and integrity.
- HR Strategy: Collaborate with leadership teams to create and execute strategic HR initiatives, including workforce planning and succession planning.
- Compensation and Benefits: Manage competitive compensation structures and employee benefit programs.
- Reporting and Metrics: Track and report key HR metrics to assess organizational health and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in HR leadership, preferably in multi-industry organizations or the automotive sector.
- Expertise in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust across the organization.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to influence and drive organizational change.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
This position will be based out of the VFM Motors Head Office in KR Puram, Bengaluru.
