Director - Cloud Operations

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Hire the best talent, create an environment for continuous learning and growth, and enable the teams to deliver performant, resilient, highly available software at scale. Lead and manage the Cloud Operations teams to deliver the Verint Cloud Platform services with industry leading availability that enables engineering teams to deliver application functionality to our customers. Work effectively with Engineering and Security Leaders, teams, and the Support organizations to ensure delivery against agreed priorities. Identify and implement technology and skill development trends that will be able to support the future success of the business. Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization and drive consistent standards and best practice approaches throughout the development teams. Ensure delivery consistent with Agile processes across the team. Accountable for the timeliness and quality or project deliverables. Reviewing and applying best practices to establish and improve operational best practices. Consistent Creating automation, policies, and tooling to improve efficiency and drive down operational burdenMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Minimum of 18 years of overall Cloud Operations and/or engineering experience including a minimum of 8 years of management experience leading organizations with 100+ employees. Entrepreneurial mentality, hunger, and passion to build teams along with strong program and product management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex plans and designs. Strong leadership, project management, time management and problem-solving skills Deep understanding of technologies and architecture in a highly scalable and available environment. Good knowledge of observability and automated alarming and response actions. Candidates must be innovative, creative, flexible, and self-motivated. Experience in Cloud technologies, building Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities that enable teams to build cloud-native applications without the need to understand the underlying infrastructure. Strong business acumen, and comfortable interacting with customers directly when neededPreferred Requirements
