Director, Cloud Client Solutions

The Software Engineering team in Cloud Client Solutions delivers next-generation software applications and new products for a changing world. What you’ll achieve

As a Director of Software Engineering, you will be responsible for driving a global development team spanning multiple functions.   You will work with Product Management, Program Management, Architecture, and others to deliver our software solutions to customers on time and with high quality.


You will:

  • Be responsible for establishing objectives for software development teams and manage these teams to ensure that goals are met within specified timeframe and products/projects meet quality standards.

  • Develop long-range plans and creates specific strategies to achieve goals.

  • Participate in and be accountable for cross functional initiatives and collaboration, which may have significant impact on business results.

  • Anticipate future business needs, make suggestions, and implement policies that affect areas of the company outside your own functional area.

  • Serve as a technical consultant and technical expert; sphere of influence may include people outside of company.

Essential Requirements

  • Technical skills with knowledge of OS and/or Cloud based SaaS products

  • Experience in building and leading global teams across multiple functions

  • Experience in building products with modern software tools and processes including AI transformation. Model best-in-class leadership, software development management and organizational skills to meet future needs

  • Use judgment to develop strategic vision within functional area. Implement operational policies and directives and communicate progress toward goals and objectives.


Desirable Requirements

  • Requires 15-20 years of software application development experience in a professional role. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience at the Director / Senior Director level
