The Global Controls Assurance (GCA) Team now comes under the new organization of Controls, Assurance & Risk Excellence (CARE) function. 

We are a diverse team of professionals based in multiple locations ​ We own, manage the Control Framework & Methodology for Diageo, while the ownership of controls remain with control owners and business units​ We support in identifying, testing and mitigating Financial, Compliance & Business risks​ We provide control governance and independent assurance over the control environment of Diageo to ensure that we are the most trusted consumer products company in the world​

About this role

As Senior Specialist Control Transformation you will be key in advancing the power of analytics throughout our business and assess the strength of the control environment across Diageo. As an evangelist with the power of data, you will develop reports & tools to enable us to make decisions. You will partner with stakeholders to identify meaningful insights from large data and its impact on controls & process using automation tools like Alteryx, Celonis & SAP

You will be responsible for:

Partnering with leadership to develop data analytics solutions to solve business challenges Managing stakeholder relationships Managing Project expectations, regular prioritization of deliverables Developing a tool /report and deliver changes that address business needs Implementing outstanding reporting & data analytics, through technology & continuous improvement Analyse/Crunch large volumes of data to provide meaningful interpretations Crafting guidelines for SOX deliverables

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Expertise in data analytics and reporting solutions. Expertise in data visualization tools Expert knowledge of Alteryx A comprehensive understanding of Financial controls and business process Creative problem solving and the ability to innovate effective solutions Chartered Accountant or Masters Graduate in Finance with 7- 9 years of experience Working knowledge on SOX Testing, guidelines, flowcharts, SOPs Risk & Control Mindset  Good Accounting Knowledge  Good Understanding of SAP/similar ERP ways of working Good Convincing skills  Expert Written & Verbal communication Attitude to learn & think on the move
