RSA is looking for a SaaS Operations engineer who will work cross-functionally to support RSA’s Cloud Identity platforms. The SaaS Operations engineer in the Global SecurID Operations group will demonstrate technical depth, strong interpersonal skills and passion to solve RSA’s business problems.

You’ll use cloud services to help our engineering teams rapidly deliver RSA’s products and services, as well as provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications. This position would require you to demonstrate high-level knowledge of, and provide operations expertise on, exceptionally complex problems.

You must be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams within RSA, such as engineering, business operations, support, professional services, as well as with leadership. You are intellectually curious and enjoy keeping your existing technical skills honed while developing new ones, so you can make strong contributions in your work. Responsibilities:

Provide application support for multiple mission-critical applications in SaaS and cloud environments Troubleshoot and resolve application, instance, and/or system issues, be able to arrive at RCA write-ups Develop, implement, document, and execute standard operations procedures Improve and implement proactive monitoring. develop scripts for ad hoc monitoring, create technical reports about monitoring activities and use analytics tool for advanced proactive monitoring capabilities Create and protect Production Secret keys, restrict access to sensitive customer data Working with Engineering to design automation of procedures, deployment, controls and Security. Take part in SaaS Operations technical activities related to supporting, deploying, auditing and adopting new products and services Provide technical expertise and advocacy around how solutions should be implemented in production from SaaS Operations POV Demonstrate ability to work on several concurrent projects involving multiple stakeholders executing in a matrix environment Integrate technologies, processes, tools, and methodologies to mature SaaS Operations services (procedures, application management tools, monitoring and more) Communicate deployment and production related activities internally and externally when appropriate (especially during disaster recovery times) Participate in an on-call rotations to provide coverage during off business hours. Coordinate closely on various activities with internal teams and external service providers.


Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in enterprise application support in Hosted and / or cloud environments. At least 5 years of UNIX / Linux hands-on experience At least 3 years of experience in managing/supporting cloud solutions (AWS and or Azure) Applicative SQL Server DBA skills, including an understanding of DB schema and experience writing, tuning, and executing SQL queries Experience with monitoring tools usage and configuration (Zabbix, Cloud native, Dynatrace, Datadog) Experience in working with Cloud vendors (Azure, AWS, GCP) Programming & scripting experience (Python/Linux Shell/PowerShell etc.) Knowledge in network services (DNS, DHCP, NFS, SMTP, SSH) and networking equipment configuration (Routers, Switches, Load balancers etc.) Understanding of virtualization technologies Understanding basic infrastructure requirements for High Availability & maintaining customer SLA.

Additional Skills Preferred:

Database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle), NoSQL systems (Cosmos, Redis PagerDuty, Pingdom, Statuspage, Slack, Team Experience with Orchestration tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins Experience using AWS (EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudFormation, Lamda, S3, SecretsManager, IAM Experience working with Atlassian Product suite (Confluence, Jira, SUSE, CentOS, Redhat Linux, and Windows Server platform STIG, OS system hardenin Pearl/Python/Bash/Powershell scriptin Log Analytics (AWS Cloud Watch, Azure Log Analytics, Datadog) Experience designing Monitoring Solutions and Build Guidelines SAML, Federation technologies Good understanding of Security concepts and Secure Development Life Cycle Experience with Reporting and Analytics tools (Elasticsearch/Logstash, Kibana, Azure Log Analytics, AWS OpenSearch) Experience in working in regulated environments (SOC, PCI)

Soft Skills:

Ability to interface with business and technical leadership. Experience in working in mission-critical environments. Experience in working with customers. Ability to work well under pressure within a technically challenging environment. Excellent problem-solving, logical, and analytical abilities. Solid understanding of change management, App Support and Tech Support services. Available for On-call after-hours support. Available for time schedules that do include some weekends. Strong commitment to organizational work ethics Experience collaborating with different teams such as Software Development, Product Management and Support. Detail oriented and follow strict Change Controls Guidelines. Strong ability to set priorities on various influx of tasks.
