Job title:
Procurement Leader S&RC India

Your role:
• You lead the Procurement activities including developing local and global supply base development as well as product development for all S&RC business activities in India.

• New Product Development (R&D), Life Cycle management (R&D), Service and FCO Operations (Service & ISC), Supplier Development (Commodity management) are key elements of team and Stakeholders.

• Global Time zone & Hybrid working. This position provides unique opportunity for an Individual to demonstrate her / his entrepreneur mind set, solution-oriented approach and strong people leadership skills by developing teams / suppliers, Travel 10-20% max local / regional and global.

  • Creates strategic impact by initiating, organizing, and implementing Procurement programs and transformations in the Business in line with Category and Business Procurement strategies.
  • Captures supplier innovation in product and business creation to optimize propositions and achieve the best value for Philips and its customers.
  • Supports the Product Sourcing Engineer on the deployment of early supplier involvement and selection and target costing and tracking for assigned product.
  • Gaining agreements on and achieving program goals and objectives, balancing and managing the program scope (including requirements), schedule, budget, quality, resources and risks 
  • Clearly outlining expected project deliverables and project interdependencies
  • Monitoring the business cases detailing the outcomes, and benefits, supported by well‐defined program approaches that are documented in program charters.
  • Leading and coordinating program activities and resources across the program scope to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Building partnerships with the program’s stakeholders (both internal and external), leverage them to achieve organizational goals, and able to influence their opinions and negotiate effective solutions.

  • Stakeholder Net Promotor Score (NPS ‐ would you recommend this person to work with to your colleague/customer) 
  • Schedule variance against first agreed/latest program baseline 
  • Cost variance against first agreed/latest program baseline 
  • Process adherence (8 for Success for programs)
  • Adoption (like speed of adoption, ultimate utilization, proficiency)
  • Benefits/value (financial / non‐financial) realization as per program business case
  • Procurement savings 
  • Procurement savings funnel 
  • TCO Elements (CoNQ, Ops, etc)
  • Supplier Risk
  • Single and sole source

1. Strong Experience in Supplier Development, NPI Development, Procurement Processes and Quality Mind set

2. Skills: Entrepreneur mind-set, Solution Oriented Approach, Business acumen, Strong Supply base and EMS / Plastic manufacturing knowledge

3. Education: Engineer (Mechanical / Electronics & MBA preferred) with 14-6 years of experience in Procurement and Product development.

4. Anything else: Live Philips Behaviors every day, every Moment
