Procurement Engineer, Automation Systems

We are looking for Procurement Engineer to be based in Pune, India.

In this role you will be executing local sourcing activities for projects and services under the direction of local sourcing management.

Major roles includes :

1. Support sales in the formulation of estimates that include a content of non-routine external supplies.

2. Support to other units of the Valmet Group for the selection and expediting of suppliers.

3. To buy goods and services needed for customer project, ensuring the needed quality, conformity with the technical requirements, adequate cost, respect of delivery time, all respecting company and group purchasing policies and guidelines.

4. To support Sales in the preparation of their quotations if special outsourced / subcontracted parts are included.

5. Development of procurement operations: definition of supplier evaluation and qualification criteria, search for new suppliers, their selection and qualification.

6. Implementation of new types of contracts (framework contracts, long-term contracts, tenders, etc.)

7. To develop purchasing operations: definition of criteria for supplier assessment and qualification, new supplier selection and qualification.

8. To implement new types of contracts (frame agreements, long term agreements, outsourcing contracts etc.)

9. Local sourcing interface in supply center or site

10. Delivery supervision and risk management

11. Keeping purchasing price information (local ERP)

12. Supplier relationship management, as well as new Supplier Sourcing, Supplier selection and Supplier audit.

In this role you will be reporting to local Head (solid line) and Sourcing Head (matrix line).
