Key Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of usercentered design (UCD)principles to include documenting user requirements and user needs(and pain points); Interaction/Interface design experienceutilizing usercentered methods
• PositionDescription:
• Derive business processes analyzeuser needs assist in requirements definition design browserbasedinterfaces and design and conduct usability testing.
• Elicit business goals and user needs fromstakeholders.
• Facilitate customer discoverysessions.
• Create Conceptual Models JourneyMaps Personas and Scenarios of Use
• Create andrefine screen prototypes.
• Document userrequirements screen designs and design recommendations

SkillsRequirements:

FOUNDATION FORSUCCESS (Basic Qualifications)

• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skillswith the ability to communicate technical topics as well asinterface with the customer on a daily basis
• Minimum of 6 years of direct Interaction/Interface designexperience in UserCentered Methods and User Analysis
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.Contract requirement.

• Minimum of 4 year ofexperience in designing and conducting formative usability tests inboth formal and informal
• settings
• Minimum of 4 year of experience preparing and presentingfindings and recommendations in small and large groupsettings
• Must provide a digital portfolio ofdesign work for review

HOWTO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills)

• Showcase your knowledge of modern developmentthrough the following experience or skills:
• Experience using Axure RP prototyping software
• Experience with AdobeXD prototyping software
• Experience with Pega and/or ServiceNowplatforms
• Experience with the Agile/Scrummethodology
• Understanding of responsivedesign
• Prior experience supporting governmentagencies
• Understanding of Section 508 and itsrequirements regarding design
• Hold additionalUX Certifications such as UX Master Certification (NN/g) or UXDesign Immersive (General Assembly)
• Education:
• Bachelors degree with 7years of experience
• Must be able to obtain andmaintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
