Job Description

Roles and responsibilities
In this role you will:
Conceptualise, plan and execute employee communications programs in India, as well as globally, that help employees learn about our business and feel part of our culture. This includes newsletters, events, employee stories, CSR programs, intranet and more

Develop, write and edit impactful, clear and succinct materials for leaders, including emails, digital communications,  FAQs, and presentations.Take an audience-first approach when creating high-quality content, across all internal digital channels and continuously improving and striving for excellence.

Plan and execute internal events, in India and globally, including employee engagement activities, All Hands and special programs.

Operationalise and create employee communications and content calendar by identifying opportunities to promote employee engagement on a regular basis, coordinating with various stakeholders across the organization to help our team deliver quality work.

Be a SPOC and strategic partner to business units to provide counsel on communications messaging and plans.

Create templates to standardize communications and events across the organization working closely with the brand team.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as internal communications specialist (Preferably 8+ years of work experience in employee communications, corporate communications, marketing communications)
  • Experience in preparing communications materials that can be strategically tailored for a multitude of channels and platforms
  • Experience in content creation, storytelling and delivery through various channels
  • Experience in event management, organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and work collaboratively across the business
  • Ability to both develop and execute (operationalize) work, build trust with stakeholders and work independently
  • Ability to prioritise and handle multiple projects concurrently with sound decision-making ability
  • Prior experience of working in tech and SaaS industry preferred
  • Educational background in Mass Communications/ Journalism/ Advertising preferred


Additional Information

We are looking for an employee communications and engagement expert who can conceptualize, create and execute internal communications strategies and methods to connect the company goals with internal stakeholders and employees. This position will be the point of contact for all requests related to communications, promoting events and activities while managing the overall narrative messaging and internal communications strategy. The internal communications manager will work closely with various teams internally to ensure employees are informed, connected and engaged.

You will be an integral part of the global Employee Communications and Engagement team that includes employee communications, employee experience and social impact. This role will report to the Director of Internal Communications and will be based in Chennai, our largest office around the globe.
