We are seeking anexperienced Bid Management Professional with 10-15 years of expertise in managingcomplete proposals for Control & Instrumentation Packages for Thermal,Gas-based & Hydro Power Plants. The ideal candidate shall have a strongbackground in handling tenders for Central Government & State GovernmentUtilities, Private Utilities, Overseas customers, good understanding of FieldInstrumentation Packages including proprietary packages related to Boilers& Turbines. The candidate shall possess strong communication skills andability to co-ordinate with multiple teams. Experience in Power Plant C&IEngineering shall be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

·Review& understanding customer’s technical specifications, provide compliancesand offering best solution suitable to customer’s requirements.

·Preparationof Bill of Material(s) in line with the specifications.

·Reviewof technical specifications for Field Instrumentation Packages related to PowerPlants. Releasing RFQ’s for vendor quotations for bought-out packages.

·Reviewof vendor’s quotations including commercial terms & conditions.

·Understandingcustomer’s terms & conditions mentioned in the tender.

·Co-ordinationwith Procurement & Commercial Counterparts to expedite the bid submissionprocess.

·Preparationof bid documents in line with the tender specifications.

·Submissionof bids within the suitable timeframe.

·Post-biddiscussion with the customers and consultants, as applicable.

·Projecthandover to execution team after order acquisition.

·PreparingWin / Loss analysis for higher management.

Requirements:

·Bachelor’sdegree in Control & Instrumentation Engineering or a relevant field is required.An MBA is preferred.

·10-15years of proven experience in sales and tendering of Control Systems (DCS &PLC), preferably for Power Plants. Knowledge of SPPA T3000 DCS shall be anadded advantage.

·Demonstratedsuccess in handling Sales & Tendering process, with a track record ofmeeting ambitious goals.

·Goodunderstanding of boilers, steam turbines, power plant processes, measurementconcepts of various parameters.

·Excellentcommunication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability toarticulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

·Abilityto work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment,fostering a cooperative work environment.

·Willingnessto travel, if required, to meet clients and other business requirements.

·Willingnessto work in different time zones, as per business requirements.
