Job Summary

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsiblefor generating leads engaging with prospects performing productdemos and driving endtoend sale lifecycle in the Higher Educationsegment and build market in your assigned regions. The rolerequires quick adaption to customer needs and deliver a human andconsultative support experience through creative problemsolving anda thorough knowledge of how our product works.

We are looking to hire smart and passionate folks whohave strong communication skills a passion for sales an interest inproblemsolving and the flexibility to deal with customerneeds.

Responsibilities:

  • Developdeep knowledge of the companys software and theUSPs.
  • Target HigherEducation private andgovernment institutes (Engineering Management Medical etc.) toexplain the companys software.
  • Research thetarget market to understand the market size & buyingpotential.
  • Own individual targets and worktowards generating new revenue.
  • Understand thecustomers organization chart to identify the endusers influencersand decision makers.
  • Conduct meetings withdifferent stakeholders to analyse needs demonstrate the companyssoftware and understand the customersinterest.
  • Be responsible to convert productdemo to trials and prospects to paid customers through enthusiasticcustomer engagement.
  • Form partnerships withdifferent stakeholders of Higher Education ecosystem like hardwarecompanies for hybrid classroom to generate leads and increasechances of sale.
  • Consistently follow up withProspects and maintain relationship even when the potential is notimmediate.
  • Submit and follow up on proposalsand move them to negotiations and finallyclosure.
  • Collaborate with other appropriateinternal teams and represent the customers to solve their businessrequirements.
  • Coordinate internally with thecustomer success business teams to fulfil orders as promised andensure high standards of Customersatisfaction.
  • Update opportunity tracking toolsto provide a precise forecast of the pipeline to themanagement.

Minimumqualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in engineering or Business Administration from top tierinstitutes or a related field or equivalent practicalexperience.
  • 14 years of experience in a salesrole in Higher Education segment.
  • Excellentverbal/written communication skills including an ability toeffectively communicate with both business and technicalteams.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and theability to work independently and collaboratively as part of ateam.
  • Familiarity of working with CRM andopportunity tracking tools like Zoho SalesforceHubspot.
  • Selfmotivated proactive and strongsense ofownership.

Preferredqualifications:

  • Priorexperience in B2B Edtech SaaS company is an addedbonus.
  • Interest curiosity and openness tolearning newtechnologies.
