We are a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka and Our client is a leading FMCG company head office based in Colombo. They are no 1 in the industry that they operate and now have started its new manufacturing and distribution channels in India is looking for a HR and Admin Consultant join their sales team.

Below is the summery of the Job Description.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR and administrative management, with a proven track record in establishing and managing HR systems, policies, and teams in a start-up or expansion environment.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Functions:
  1. Strategic HR Planning:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Identify and analyze workforce requirements to support the company’s growth plans.
  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
Oversee the recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
Design and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees are integrated smoothly.
  1. Policy Development:
Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  1. Performance Management:
Design and implement performance management systems to ensure employee performance aligns with business goals.
Provide guidance on performance evaluations and development plans.
  1. Employee Relations:
Foster a positive working environment through effective employee relations programs.
Handle employee grievances and disputes in a fair and timely manner.
  1. Training and Development:
Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
Oversee the delivery of training programs.
  1. Compensation and Benefits:
Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Conduct periodic salary surveys and make recommendations for adjustments.

Administrative Functions:
  1. Office Setup and Management:
Oversee the setup of office infrastructure and facilities.
Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of office operations.
  1. Administrative Support:
Manage administrative services including office supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor management.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
  1. Health and Safety:
Implement health and safety policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  1. IT and Security:
Oversee IT infrastructure and ensure data security measures are in place.
Coordinate with IT support for any technical issues.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in HR and administrative roles.
  • Proven track record in setting up HR and administrative functions in a start-up or expansion environment.
  • Experience in the FMCG sector is highly desirable.
